Today, the House of Representatives voted to pass the Never Forget the Heroes: James Zadroga, Ray Pfeifer, and Luis Alvarez Permanent Authorization of the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Act(HR 1327) by an overwhelming majority: 402 Yeas, 12 Nays, and 19 who failed to vote.

Today is a victory in the seemingly never-ending battle to ensure compensation benefits for 9/11 victims, but the war is not over yet. Next stop is the Senate.
