SIDRAH SYED is a 9/11 compensation attorney who has dedicated her entire professional legal career to the 9/11 community by advocating on behalf of claimants to the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (9/11 VCF). Prior to joining Pitta & Baione LLP, Sidrah served as the Senior Attorney at Hansen & Rosasco LLP, and as the Associate Attorney at both Turley Hansen & Rosasco LLP and Turley Hansen & Partners LLP.
Although Sidrah joined the firm in 2021, her professional relationship with Partners Christopher and Matthew Baione spans a decade. While attending college, she interned with Matthew Baione for Michael S. Cole, Esq. who serves as outside counsel to one of the largest real estate firms in the nation. In 2014, she joined Christopher at a 9/11 victim compensation law firm. Since then, she has only worked on 9/11 victim compensation fund claims.
Sidrah has submitted claims and argued appeals with success, and has obtained multiple awards ranging from $1 million to $3 million. In her prior roles, she routinely reviewed award determinations for accuracy and advised clients on whether to accept or appeal. Sidrah also served as the firm’s representative to the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund by leading regular conferences with attorney liaisons to resolve claim issues and discuss procedural updates within the Fund.
In addition to demonstrating skilled expertise, compassion and empathy have defined Sidrah’s career as a 9/11 VCF attorney. 9/11 VCF claimants have described Sidrah as “truly amazing,” “a pleasure to work with,” “a gem,” and with a “sincere and personal concern [for the client].”
Sidrah earned her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School with a focus on Corporate and Business law. Sidrah graduated from New York University with a degree in Political Science.
